Butterflies, Birds & Bees of the Garden
Butterflies: MCG has their very own butterfly garden. With an official Monarch Watch Station. Cared for by Martha & Helen. They collect the eggs, then raise the caterpillars and wait for their metamorphosis.
Birds: MCG has several bird houses through out the garden. They are checked and cared for by the garden members. Bees: There are a few hives at the North end of the garden. Please keep a safe distance of 30 feet from all hives. To keep hives in the garden you must be a current garden member. |
